Our work within Brixham community

Our work within Brixham community

At Rockfish Brixham we support local charities within the community by adding an optional £1 table donation to each bill. It’s a small way of making big impact on our local communities. Since 2010, we have raised over £250,000 across our restaurants for local causes thanks to the generosity of our customers.

Here are the causes we support in Brixham:

Till The Coast is Clear

Till the Coast is Clear, run by local man Gary Jolliffe, is a social enterprise aimed at tackling marine plastic pollution. A local pioneer in beach cleans, Gary's boat is capable of accessing the remote and difficult to reach locations that general beach cleans can’t reach. With a zero tolerance to landfill policy he ensures all waste is either recycled or used for energy generation. Look out for our giant deck chair in our Exeter restaurant and our Wish Fish at Plymouth, both made from salvaged fishing nets form Gary's beach cleans.

Litter Free Seas Project

Rockfish has donated £32,000 towards the Lotter Free Seas project to clear plastic pollution from the harbour.

Pride in Brixham

Pride in Brixham volunteers, formed in 2006,  work closely with the Brixham Harbour Office. Throughout the year they can be seen painting, railings, lamp-posts, seats and the public loos. Over the years they have also created 4 large award winning gardens with beautiful 3 tiered planters, and instigated the 25 'Up the pole planters' in Middle Street. They love Brixham, and would like everyone who lives and visits to love Brixham too!
