Our whole Bass have been gutted and the heads removed so all you need to do is add a few slashes to the skin, rub with olive oil and bake in the oven (with a splash of wine and tomatoes if you have them) for a wonderful seafood supper.

With no more fresh fish markets now until after the bank holiday, the work doesn’t stop here in Brixham. The fleet will continue to fish through the weekend and we’ll be keeping a close eye on the landings as the boats come and go from the harbour.
Our buyers will be watching the market carefully, ready to step in and select the very best fish as it appears. It’s one of the great rhythms of the quay, and something we never take for granted.
The first fresh market will be back on Wednesday 8th, with all orders placed between now and then delivered that day. We look forward to bringing you another round of exceptional seafood, straight from the boats to your kitchen.
