Our Lyme Regis restaurant looks out across the bay, with fishing boats passing by and views of the Cobb from our beautiful window seat. The seafood is landed along the coast in Brixham, prepared by hand each morning and here in time for lunch, about as fresh as fish gets on the Jurassic Coast.

Lyme is a town steeped in maritime history, fossil hunters and artistic charm. Mary Anning walked these beaches, writers have been drawn here for centuries, and the harbour has been working the whole time. Our restaurant sits in the former seafood spot of local legend Mark Hix, and we still keep a seat at the bar in his honour.

Inside, it's warm and welcoming, with one of the best views in town. Outside, the sea and skyline do the talking. Whether you're wandering up from the Cobb, fresh from fossil hunting on Monmouth Beach, or settling in for a slow lunch, this is the place to enjoy seafood right by the water, in a town that's always lived by it.
