A seafood restaurant right on the beach. Tucked just off the pebbles and by the sea wall in Budleigh Salterton, Rockfish Budleigh Beach has entered a new chapter, transformed from our much-loved seafood cafe into a fully fledged boat-to-plate restaurant, with the same welcome and the same view straight out to sea.

Our menu changes daily, shaped entirely by that morning's catch, delivered straight from the quayside at Brixham Market and hand-annotated so you know exactly what's at its very best that day. Choose your fish, and we'll cook it to order with Cornish new potatoes, green salad or unlimited chips.

The refurbished interior is rich with wood, terracotta and dark leather, but it's never precious. Sand can brush in through the door, wet dogs are welcome, and the main room opens onto that stunning view out to sea. In summer it's full of light and in winter, it glows. It's a year-round place for a year-round town.

There is space alongside the road just behind the restaurant where you can park for a couple of hours. Need a little longer? You'll find the Lime Kiln long stay car park a short walk along the seafront. EX9 6JD

We're a dog friendly restaurant, so well-behaved pups can join you inside or outside, with water bowls at the ready. All we ask is that paws remain on the floor. After a run on the sands there's no better spot for you both to refuel.

When the weather suits, you'll find outside seating waiting for you, some of the finest seafood in Devon with the beach right there in front of you. Our outside furniture is made from recycled materials, including the returnable packaging from our Online Seafood Market.
