Is there anything better than an evening of delicious food, wonderful wine and good company, especially when there's a reason to celebrate? Our seafood restaurants across Devon and Dorset offer relaxed spaces to gather with friends and family, with fresh, locally caught seafood and every one of our restaurants overlooking the water. Birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, wedding celebrations, or no occasion at all: we'd be happy to host.

Private Dining

For a space of your own within the hustle and bustle of our restaurants, three of our sites have private rooms made for a party. The Bridge at Rockfish Brixham looks straight over the harbour, while our cosy Chart Rooms at Weymouth and Poole are bright, relaxed spaces for gatherings large and small. Each comes with the same fresh seafood and warm welcome as the restaurant below.

The Bridge, Brixham

Seats up to 28. Dine right above the world-famous Brixham fish market, with sweeping views over the harbour and the boats landing below, lift access to the first floor, and a log burner keeping things toasty. Time it right and you might spot the catch coming in, or our resident local seal, cheekily hoping for scraps, as you tuck into your own.

The Chart Room, Weymouth

Our Weymouth Chart Room is an intimate space that seats up to 8 guests around the table, plenty of room for the extended family or a great evening with a group of friends.

The Chart Room II, Poole

Seats up to 7. In Poole, the Chart Room is perfect for when your celebration outgrows an ordinary table and you fancy keeping the best bits to yourselves (including those embarrassing stories that get told once the wine’s flowing).

Upper Deck, Dartmouth

Seats up to 30. The Upper Deck is the open upstairs of our Dartmouth restaurant, set apart from the lower deck below, with its own terrace with a glimpse of the town. Just mind the stairs on the way up, as there's no lift to this one.

Whole Fish to Share, and a Menu for Every Guest

We're proud of the sustainable British seafood we serve, fresh from Brixham Market, and we reckon there's no better centrepiece than a whole fish in the middle of the table. A roasted sea bream or a Dover sole, a few sides, everyone digging in: it's fish at its most generous, and it's how we'd choose to celebrate.

And if not everyone in your party is a fish lover, that's no trouble at all. Tell us about your guests' dietary requirements when you book and we'll make sure there's something wonderful on the table for everyone.

For tables of 8 or more, we kindly ask for card details to secure your reservation. If your plans do change, a little notice goes a long way: 48 hours is all we need. For larger bookings cancelled at the last minute, or if nobody shows, we reserve the right to charge £5 per person, just enough to cover the table we held for you.
