About Black Bream Fillet - Frozen
Bream are a family of fish that once pan-fried, the skin becomes beautifully crispy, which is the perfect contrast to the uniform richness of the juicy flesh. Black Bream are no exception and have a wonderful iodine flavour, thanks to its seaweed-rich diet.
All the fish in our frozen section was caught at its best and flash frozen at the quayside. When it arrives at your home you can put it in the freezer to enjoy another day (even if partly defrosted) or put in your fridge and enjoy it within the next 2-3 days as you would with our fresh fish.

With no more fresh fish markets now until after the bank holiday, the work doesn’t stop here in Brixham. The fleet will continue to fish through the weekend and we’ll be keeping a close eye on the landings as the boats come and go from the harbour.
Our buyers will be watching the market carefully, ready to step in and select the very best fish as it appears. It’s one of the great rhythms of the quay, and something we never take for granted.
The first fresh market will be back on Wednesday 8th, with all orders placed between now and then delivered that day. We look forward to bringing you another round of exceptional seafood, straight from the boats to your kitchen.
