
About Whole Fresh Dressed Crab
The brown crab that we find in abundance in the South West waters are used for our Rockfish dressed crab. Steamed the morning they are landed, they're then hand-picked and the wonderful white and brown meat put back into the shell.
Dressed crab makes a simple, stunning lunch or starter where all the hard work has been done for you. Wonderful with nothing more than crusty bread and a dollop of mayonnaise. We always sell our crabs fresh so eat as soon as possible after arrival as you can for the best experience.
Whole Fresh Dressed Crab
A very good market this morning and one worth taking advantage of while the weather is still on our side. The easterly winds are starting to build, so what’s here today is worth a proper look.
The diver-caught scallops are front and centre again and always a safe bet at that price. There are some lovely lemon soles about, monkfish is showing well, and the sea bass is worth picking up while it’s in this sort of form.
The Glenarm salmon has come in beautifully and has been portioned well, making it an easy option to take home. It’s also good to see red mullet on the market, and the wild brown trout continuing to find its place.
With around 3,500 portions across 29 species, it’s a strong midweek showing. Eat better fish.
