Pot caught in the Western English Channel, North Sea and other areas (N.E Atlantic) steam-cooked & ready to eat. Best eaten as soon as possible on arrival to capture the freshness. May contain shell particles.

The hake is the first thing to look at with plenty about, and the Disco scallops have returned in good numbers. Glenarm salmon is back too, including the new range smoked by Alfred Enderby which has been getting a lot of attention on the counter.
There is also plenty of South Coast shellfish around, with crabs, lobsters and dressed crab looking excellent. With 2,600 portions across 27 species it is a well-stocked midweek market and a good moment to start thinking about something special for Mother’s Day
