This is the last one before the break. The market is full this morning and there’s plenty worth getting your hands on if you’re planning for the weekend. Dover sole is still showing well, there’s good hake about, and the Disco scallops are still coming through in numbers.
The shellfish is the one to look at too, fresh cooked crabs and lobsters for the last time this week, and always a good way to make things feel like a proper occasion.
With 4,500 portions across 30 species, it’s a full market to finish on, but once we close this afternoon that’s it. A final chance to pick what you want straight from the quay. Eat better fish.
