Each week, our fishmonger Tommy curates a mix of the very best fish coming through the Brixham market. He’s there early each morning, walking the quayside, inspecting every box as it’s landed. It’s a job that takes knowledge and experience - knowing which boats have landed, which fish have come from the cleanest grounds, and what’s eating particularly well that week. The result is a seafood box that truly captures the rhythm of the sea.

At Rockfish, we’re lucky to be based right on the quayside in Brixham, one of England’s busiest fishing ports. The fish landed here is among the finest in the world, and because we’re only metres from the auction floor, we can choose our fish within hours of it leaving the water.

Once selected, our skilled fishmongers prepare every piece by hand - filleted, trimmed and portioned with care - before it’s individually vacuum-packed to lock in freshness. We do this the same day it’s landed, ensuring that when your box arrives, your fish is as fresh as if you’d bought it at the quayside yourself.

We know handling fish at home can sometimes feel daunting, so we’ve made it easy. Each portion comes sealed, odour-free and ready to store or cook. Our packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials that keep your seafood fridge-cold for up to 48 hours in transit. It’s clean, simple and sustainable - no mess, no smells, no fuss.
