South West Sardine Festival
Join Us at the South West Sardine Festival – Backed by Rockfish
On Sunday 3rd August 2025, the streets of Brixham will be buzzing with the launch of the South West Sardine Festival – a lively celebration of the British sardine, the fishing community, and seaside summer fun. Inspired by the vibrant sardine festivals of Portugal and Spain, this brand new event promises a full day of fantastic seafood, music, and community spirit.
What to expect at the Sardine Festival:
• Fresh sardines, cooked over fire by a brilliant line-up of guest chefs including Nathan Outlaw, Mitch Tonks, Mark Hix, Ben Tonks, and Kirk Gosden
• Live music and entertainment and bands throughout the day.
• A family-friendly vibe, with entertainers and activities to keep kids smiling.
• Festival wine, beer and refreshments.
The event will run from midday to 9.30pm around the Old Fish Market in Brixham. Entry is free, but sardine and wine tokens are available to buy on the day.
This is a brilliant way to support our local fishing community, enjoy the freshest seafood in the country, and celebrate summer in true coastal style.
Our pre-sale tickets for a table between 1 & 3pm have sold out now but there are non reserved tables available during this time also so please come on down.
It's a free event so we'll see you on the 3rd August
