Simple Seafood Suppers - Tinned Sardines with tomato & tagliatelle

This sardine recipe makes the most delicious, quick supper. Plus, it's all made in one dish so very little washing up too! You can swap our tinned sardines for fresh grilled sardines if you prefer. You can tweak the ingredients to your liking too - for more of a kick add more chilli - and simply increase the portioning depending on how many people you're feeding.


Ingredients (per person):

1 tbsp butter
Pinch of salt
Pinch of chilli flakes
2 tbsp of fresh grated tomatoes
Handful of basil
Sprinkling of grated parmesan
1 portion of tagliatelle
1 tin of Rockfish Mount's Bay Sardines in olive oil



Boil some water and add your tagliatelle.

Meanwhile add your tablespoon of butter to a large bowl and using the back of the spoon spread it around the base.

Add your pinch of salt, followed by the chilli flakes, tomatoes, basil and grated parmesan.

Once your tagliatelle is cooked, strain it and add to your bowl. Top with two sardine fillets, break them up and then using a fork and spoon mix all of your ingredients together.
