After the success of our first Turbot box we have updated the offering with an extra can of Sardines and this box does not include wine. Here you’ll find my suggestion of how to enjoy the best seafood experience. 

I hope you love it, I loved coming up with this mix.

Your fish was bought at its best and in prime condition from Brixham market within the last few days. To get your fish to you in as perfect condition as possible we freeze it quickly here so that it transports well. Just leave it in the fridge for a few hours and it will defrost slowly ready for cooking. I’ve suggested how you might enjoy cooking and serving it and there is a shopping list below for the other ingredients you would need, but of course how you cook it is up to you!

How to eat

This box is designed for 2 people to enjoy a delicious 3 course dinner and snack.

Antipasti

Anchoïade (mayonnaise with salted anchovies, garlic and capers) - serve with your favourite bread 

Starter 

Cured salmon with maple and pink pepper 

Shellfish

Brixham scallops with garlic, butter and white wine 

Main Course 

Roasted Turbot T bone with sauce tartare 

A light lunch in future 

Mounts bay sardines on toast with capers, red onion & chilli

Delivery is handled by DPD, please include your email to receive tracking information for your delivery. Please note that delivery could be up to 9pm on the delivery day.

Frozen Items

The turbot and scallops are sealed in a vacuum pac and frozen fresh the day they were landed at Brixham Fish Auction.

Please consume the items in this box within 2 days of arriving. Keep refrigerated. Not suitable for home freezing

Delivery

Delivery is made on a 24 hour service from DPD. 

Your delivery will be on the day you choose. We will add your email to the DPD delivery so you get a notification of your ETA from DPD.
